It's been almost three years since The Coalition dropped Gears 5, and the studio remains awfully quiet about its next project. We don't expect Ninja Theory to announce Hellblade 2's release date at this year's Xbox Game Showcase, but another gameplay trailer shouldn't be too surprising. Hellblade 2 has been a long time coming, and the gameplay trailer that we got at The Game Awards 2021 only fueled everyone's excitement for the final product. The highly anticipated sequel to 2017's dark and disturbing psychological adventure, Hellblade, Senua's Saga Hellblade 2, looks to raise industry standards through its picturesque next-gen visuals and raw cinematic storytelling that made the original such a hit in the first place.
